Furniture Artwork

My furniture artwork incorporates many of the same techniques as cigar box purse design. Since becoming involved as an artist with a local charitable furniture bank, I've thoroughly enjoyed creating children's chairs for their annual auction fundraiser. It's gratifying to know that these chairs and bench are being loved and used in a child's bedroom where they can read, play, study or just feel happy in. I like to think of these chairs as heirlooms from childhood that will be treasured forever and passed on to the next generation.
