Ooh la la! There is a bit of the French Belle Epoque era in the poppy paper used to decorate the outside of this cigar box purse. But it goes way beyond from there into floral motifs. There is a plaid, irridescence, and even a gold marbled paper, of the type typically found on the insides of books, in this mad riot of reds, pinks and gold.
 
The fold-down handle is a vintage treasure, an arch style in absolutely new condition. The snap hinge is ornate with a matching colored pink glass stone. The hinge is inset inside the purse and is also gold colored. The door of this purse opens sideways, rather than from the top. I wanted nothing about this purse to be the usual or expected. The shocking pink feet are geometric wooden shapes so as not to be missed. More flowers, more pink, more irridescence adorn the inside of the purse in order to knock you over as you check your reflection in the 2 in diameter mirror attached to the inside lid. Comes with a detachable rhinestone and PU "leather" tassel. Did I miss anything?!
